Today was the very first time that I took my dog Blueberry for a bath and a haircut. The only issue that I had was that they said it would take 4 to 6 hours to bathe her and a haircut. I appreciate that they took their time with her but the time factor is a little extreme. They did an excellent job with Blueberry and even gave her a cute sunflower banana. We will definitely come back! She is so soft and looks great.
My dog began coming here last November for a walk in nail trim every two weeks. The only exception was when we were away 20 days in April of this year. I have not been completely pleased with the trims as my dogs nails begin tapping on the floor three or four days after being trimmed. Also the hair on her paws did not seem to have been trimmed during any of her appointments. Honestly, until today no one has spent more than ten minutes trimming her nails. I brought her in this morning for a nail trim and was 100% satisfied with the trim. This was the first time I can see that anyone had taken the time to trim the hair on her paws. She had an apprentice working on her for over 30 minutes overseen by a groomer. This is the BEST TRIM she has gotten EVER. It is the first time I can see and say that her nails have been trimmed back adequately to my satisfaction. I can tell her nails will NOT BE TAPPING on the floors in three days. The apprentice did a better job than any other groomer my dog has had at Cali Pet. She has had many different groomers. Kudos to the apprentice groomer who did my dog's nails PERFECTLY today.
My pup has separation anxiety and is also a doodle which requires specific grooming because of her coat. Kristina does amazing work and the salon is always clean, the staff is friendly and my dog is always calm and happy at pickup (not to mention beautiful!)
