A Happy Pet Tail is the only place I trust to care for my dog. I did the board and train program with A Happy Pet Tail and Akina K9 and would highly recommend it. My dog came home with foundational skills that allowed us to move on to more complicated training that I hadn't been able to do with previous pets.Suzana is always available to answer questions and coordinate stays. There is something very comforting about a responsive business when it comes to taking care of your fur baby.I could not recommend this company more!

Five Stars. Rich, Suzana, Taren, and team are the absolute best. I started my 4 month old Corso puppy with 30 days of board + train in October 2022. I dropped off a blank slate and picked up a (slightly larger) puppy with more commands than I knew what to do with. The pickup session was clear, informative, and they patiently walked me through the pertinent things my pup had learned. I continued the sessions and have been going for the past year. Highly recommend at least 5 sessions after board + train so that you can get up to speed with all the things your dog has learned. If you do the homework and give it 5-10 minutes a day - it will change you and your dog's lives. Admittedly, there are still things my pup randomly seems to know that I later find out she learned in Board + Train as a 4 month old. Overall, this is the best place to send your pup. Responsive, punctual, extremely clean, and strangers will routinely tell you how well-behaved your dog is (if you do everything Rich tells you to do :)

“Happy Training! Play with your Dog!”Rich and Suzana’s hard work and dedication to you as their clients is unmatched from my experiences with various other places.Not only did I learn how to train a dog properly, I learned how to handle two dogs with two separate learning methods. I came in with my cousin and her two dogs, my cousin has difficulty hearing so I was there as a note taker and a second handler for their sessions from start to end. One dog was more prey driven and her other dog was more food oriented, learning two different methods was mind blowing at first but once you retain the information and start seeing the small details, it’s those small steps...read full review

We offer boarding, board and train, private sessions and group classes. We specialize in working with dogs that need behavior modification. We offer service dog, companion dog and therapy dog training. We are AKC certified for CGC testing. All breeds welcome for all of our services. Please give us a call as we are by appointment only.
