“Never in 2 million years would I ever have thought my kid (who has had so many sleep issues) would sleep with all this gear on... but this is one of the most important parts of the process for him... to check for seizures while he sleeps, and to see what his sleep cycle really looks like and how that’s affecting his brain activity. There’s a lot more to what an EEG can show you outside of just seizure activity... so, it’s an incredible tool for specialists to utilize in order to really pin down what might be creating hurdles, treatable challenges, or dangers for long term damage... but with this kid the biggest hurdle today was just getting him to agree to keep all this on, and not have a severe panic attack when he realized this wasn’t coming off about 30 minutes into the ride back to our hotel room. Sooooo... all that is to say, it’s almost 2021, and we made it! We got the kiddo to comply all day, in all the gear (which was portable and we could simply let him wear it back to our hotel room to hang out and play), and then he kept it all on to go to bed... with just a little protesting. My heart could burst watching him sleep with these wires and chords taped to his head, with a backpack carrying the device next to him, and a camera monitoring his physical hallmarks. I just couldn’t be more proud, or relieved. We have one more big trip for treatment coming up at the end of the month, and then this kiddo (me, & Todd) will get some much needed rest and down time. ❤️ So grateful to be starting a new year out on the right foot! “I just started a new office job and had creaked my neck. It was so painful the last few days that all I could do was go home- put ice on it and go to bed. My chiropractor was out of town and this was the only office that had availability and didn't want to charge me an arm and a leg. The doctor was very very personable with both me and staff. I'm sure he's not the chiropractor for everyone (he's got a very bold personality), but I felt well taken care of. Heck - I may even defect and start seeing this chiro on a regular basis. “I go here for my appointments. I recommend Roger Ngaha. He listens to what I say. He’s not those dirty pill mill psychiatrist who throws many combinations of addicting medications at you. He listens and actually takes the time to see what my issues are. He always willing to speak to me. Never pushes me to do something I am not 100% comfortable with. Sometimes with my voice it can be hard to understand me but he’s a great listener. I have no idea why these people gave him bad reviews. He’s a really nice guy, he’s pleasant to talk to. Very well mannered individual.“
