I don't even know where to begin!! Our story is long and deep but I'll try to keep it short and sweet. My son's issues started off very slow and med docs would just shrug it off or recommend short term "solutions " then as things got worse, they wanted to call it a mental health issue!! My son does not have MH issues!!! I'm not a fan of drugging my child at all and this was another failed attempt at "treating" my child. I am the type of person that likes to know how and why things work. I question everything because I'm a genuinely curious person. When doctors gave answers that made zero sense, it left me realizing how much they lack knowledge. I wanted to heal my son, not mask his symptoms or give him drugs with awful side-effects. I started taking him to Dr. S, while trying to figure things out with the med docs. Ultimately, I dumped med docs and only used them as needed for certain blood tests. I think people shy away from functional medicine due to cost and possibly too much faith in conventional medicine for all the answers. Dr. S, orders tests and teaches you how to heal so that you're cured. Had I not followed through with treatment here, my son would be on a feeding tube, no doubt. Worth every dime!!!
