The best taekwondo place to be! My 2 boys and one girl have been with Sunnyside Carter TKD for 3 years- my initial goal was simple: to find a safe place where my kids could release some energy while gaining confidence, discipline, and respect. My kids gained all that and much more! This place has given them the opportunity to compete at state and national level. I never imagine my kids could do this. Through the teachings from Master Austin and Master Carter, my kids are CHAMPIONS and role models for their school, friends, cousins and every else they go! Both Masters will help each family reach their goals whether it’s just to simply exercise, learn taekwondo, or compete at the highest level! If you want a team of good/ respectful parents, kids, and Masters- Sunnyside Carter Taekwondo is the place!

The students are taught not only how to become skilled martial artists, but also how to be kind, humble, supportive, and respectful of others. They celebrate each other’s successes, lift one another up through challenges, and truly grow together as a team.
Over the past three years, we’ve watched our children develop into more confident athletes and, more importantly,...read full review
