About Fresno Yosemite International Airport
Fresno Yosemite International Airport is a small but well-equipped airport serving the Central Valley. While it may have limited shopping options outside, the airport is easy to navigate and manage, even with ongoing construction. Despite being slightly more expensive than larger airports like LAX, it offers good amenities and exceptional customer service, with a professional and respectful staff. Travelers recommend arriving early, especially during peak times, to ensure a smooth experience at this international airport. The airport features a Starbucks and Peetes coffee, but there are limited dining options, so it’s best to grab something on the way or pack snacks. It has convenient rental car facilities right outside the exit. The terminal is spacious with plenty of bathrooms and changing areas for babies and young children, and elevators are available. Security lines tend to move quickly, and the staff is friendly. The airport connects to many destinations, making it a good choice for travelers.
The handicap access and attendants that help me through the airport are great. Pushing my butt all around and even stopping for coffee. Also helping my sister with luggage and getting us where we need to go is awesome. Thank you
Gateway to both SEKI and Yosemite NPs with access to park entrances in around 1.5 hours, but may need to drive further to reach your intended destinations. A great starting point for your Sierra Nevada adventure
TSA screening was efficient. The airport has recently added a couple new food choices including a Mad Duck cafe in the upstairs departure area. The airport is clean, easy to navigate and usually provides a pretty low stress experience.
