I’ve been to this salon twice, and unfortunately both experiences were disappointing.

During my first visit, my stylist was the manager, Mint. The hair dye itself was done well, but the pricing was extremely high and not transparent. In this area, highlights typically cost around $400–$500, but I was charged over $700 with little explanation for the difference.

On my second visit, I got a haircut from a stylist named 小V, who promotes his work heavily on Xiaohongshu (RedNote). I initially chose him because I believed the photos he shared were his own work. Great place for asian male style haircuts! My experience was just like getting my haircut back in Korea. There was an initial shampoo, then the cut, then another shampoo session, and then a styling session after. Total damage after tip was about 65 USD

I like the style of haircuts here. They do a good job with Asian hair that other salons can’t do. I’ve been going to this place since they were in SF and I still make the drive to Fremont to get my haircut. The skill of hair stylist and time they spend is worth the price. Make an appointment in advance.
