Walked in without a plan, just visiting while my friend got a checkup. Walked out with an insurance card, a brand new copper IUD, and consultation for my personal issues regarding my family situation. I was there for less than 2 hours. Amazing service and I'm so glad I went! I neglected going for so long because I didn't want to have to worry about waiting for paperwork to be approved, getting my parents involved, having to check back multiple times for appts, was worried about money, etc. None of that. With their help I feel confident in the control I have over my life and body. Big thanks to Dr. Cynthia for giving me my IUD! She was super friendly and really made me less worried about the entire procedure. I couldn't have asked for a better doctor.
I would've given a 4/5 stars but because of the girl working at the front I decided to 4/5. I've been coming to Teen Clinic for about 4 to 5 years now, and for each time I'm here my experience is beyond wonderful. Except for today. I was always greeted by this guy before and he was super friendly and nice, always had a smile on his face. But today this girl wasn't even smiling, and she had such a stern voice, and didn't make me wanna ask questions or talk to her about why I came for my visit today. I know that's probably not a big deal but honestly some of us that come here are scared, nervous, or anxious etc and we come here for a nice friendly environment... Again dont get me wrong other than this visit everything is 5/5 for me here..
Cynthia Yu is the best!! I have been going here for 9 years. She is very nice and makes you feel comfortable. Cynthia is very informative.Don't ever be afraid to come here! If you are engaging in sexual activities, always go to the doctors (even if it is not here) and always be safe!!
