Ron has been doing business in Fremont for decades, and his quote is very competitive, beating most roofers I have been dealing with. He doesn't cut corners in his work and he is generous when there is a change to be made.He is very busy though, because of his good price. Get in line fast.

I recently bought a home with a roof that dearly needed replacement and asked for recommendations. One of them was Sunset Roofing, headed up by Ron Lopez. Ron, although extremely busy, responded with a quick meeting, sound advice and a reasonable quotation (unlike another roofer who was out to gouge me). He started the project when he said he would and extended his crew over one weekend in order to complete prior to a fumigation. Ron is a very personable, fair-minded person who is also well-organized and diligent. I recommend Ron and Sunset Roofing highly for what is an expensive and daunting undertaking for most people.

Not many such honest roofers are left in Fremont nowadays. 1. Ron's quote is very competitive, beating most roofers I have been dealing with. He is a down to earth no nonsense guy. 2. He doesn't cut corners. Many roofer won't change the sheet metals for you because of the trouble getting under the stucco. 3. He is generous when I had to change the contract in the last minute. He is very busy, because of good price. So you have to be patient, he does reply to email or message eventually. If you only reach him by voice mail, send a message or email instead and wait the response. You won't be disappointed.
