Lori is hands down the best barber in the bay area. I have been going to her for years now and throughout the years , from fades to all different types of cuts that I have asked her to do, she is truly an Artist ! Plus i love the vibe of the place when she plays her amazing playlist on YouTube!
Usually a very good experience but I'm a male with long hair and the last time i went in for a trim I was charged the Women's price. I was told i was being charged that rate after the service was done and at the register. Make sure of the price before the haircut and if you pay with cash, they operate under the assumption that the change will be their tip and don't even offer change back most of the time.
After two years of going here, I figure it's about time to leave a review. I rather selfishly held off on it since I don't like waiting in line if it gets too popular but I feel I should especially after reading all the 1-star reviews for it.
To preface, the first time I went to get my haircut here, it was both an awful experience and a bad haircut. Not only that, the lady that did my cut (I don't know her name to this day but I think she still works there on the weekends), said some pretty awful things about certain people (who even does that on a first meeting no less?) that I won't repeat that did not make me want to go back.
