i went here for the first time today, and it was amazing! i have curly hair and most places i've gone to in the past cut way too much off not realising that once my hair dries it will shrink about an inch or more. Charlene took her time, and made sure she only took off what needed to be taken off. it was a great experence. if you have curly hair, you really need to check her out...she really understands your curls :)

I have been going to Hairlenes for years, the owners name is Charlene, if you have curly hair, she is the best. I learned about her from my Mom, now she not only cuts my hair but also my daughters hair. Charlene owns her own business and is located in the Irvington District on Fremont Blvd. I LOve her and am glad i found her on Yelp so i could write about review about her hair salon. 5 stars!!
