I would have given 5 stars for Dr. Cohn. They don't answer calls, and seldom return calls. So to reach them, you have to go to their office. What good is it if the doctor is hard to reach? The staff gave me the wrong address for the surgery center.

Dr. Cohn did lasik for me, and I've seen Dr. Tran as well. I was nervous about getting Lasik, but I felt comfortable with Dr. Cohn -- he has so much experience doing Lasik, and he walked through the whole procedure with me. It has been over a year since the procedure, and I still can see clearly. One thing I like about both doctors is not feeling rushed with them -- I felt like they had time to answer all of my questions. I also appreciated how quickly I was able to actually get the procedure. I think it only took a month between first reaching out for a consultation and actually doing Lasik.Since then, I have continued coming for eye exams and sunglasses. An added bonus is the office's proximity to Falafels, Etc.

I have great eye site for the first time in over 30 years thanks to Dr. Cohn and his staff. After being afraid for so long to get LASIK done, I finally decided to do it. He was one of the preferred doctors that my regular optometrist had recommended in the past, so I called in the middle of October and asked if they could see me for a consultation. Within a week I met Dr. Cohn and talked about the procedure. He had an opening less than two weeks out for LASIK so I took it. Procedure went very smooth as did the follow-up appointments and I can finally live without glasses for a while! Very happy with Dr. Cohn and his friendly staff. Important to know that while his office is in Fremont, the LASIK surgery center for the procedure is in San Jose near O'Connor Hospital. Other than the day of the procedure, though, all the appointments are at his Fremont office. Not a big deal but that may be helpful to some as you'll need someone to drive you to San Jose and back for the procedure.
