“Making funeral arrangements for a loved one is never an easy process. I was calling different funeral homes in the Fresno area on December 21,2018 to prepare for my grandfathers passing. On December 22nd my grandfather unfortunately passed away. I mistakenly made arrangements with another funeral home in Fresno. The other funeral home was unresponsive and never picked up my grandfather's deceased body or contacted me as to why.At 7pm on Saturday I contacted Abbey Funeral & Cremation Services. I spoke with a representative who was extremely helpful and assured me that my grandfather would be picked up within 30 - 45 minutes. I informed the representative whom I had spoken with the day before (Barbara). As soon as Abbey Funeral & Cremation Services spoke with the hospice nurse and confirmed all arrangements I received a call from Barbara.I am beyond thankful for Abbey Funeral & Cremation Service in Fresno as Barbara has been extremely helpful with this entire process. She is amazingly helpful and truly appreciate her kindness and responsiveness during the holidays.My grandfather made it home to Morelia Michoacán Mexico. “When they came to collect my mother from her home, they were professional, soft spoken and caring. They did it with respect and did a beautiful preparation for the removal. Her hair was combed. They placed a velvet blanket on her, all edges tucked. She was comfortable. She looked like she was in a peaceful sleep. As we walked backed in our home, they left her bed made with a rose in her pillow.
So beautiful. So well done. Amazing. I was at peace knowing that they will take care of her.

“This funeral home has the most integrity of any I've dealt with in my 74 years. When children are estranged from parent often times it left to siblings to make decisions. I admonish everyone to make a prepaid plan with all references for paperwork (death certificates) so that everything is covered the way the deceased would like it. “I cannot recommend them enough to anyone that has lost a loved one. My grandfather passed unexpectedly while my grandmother his wife of 69yrs was in the hospital. Being the only family member in town to tend to the necessary duties one must do when a loved one passes was extremely hard and overwhelming. Renee was over the top compassionate, caring & helpful when it came to everything start tofinish when it came to everything pertaining to my grandfather and the best of service possible was given to myself, my family and especially my grandfather by Wildrose. The obituary was over the top absolutely amazing. Renee goes above and beyond and doing the little things that mean so much.... like death certificates and social Security and things that you don't think of especially if this is a first time loss. If you're someone going through a loss for the very first time it can be very overwhelming and things can seem cloudy those little things mean so much in the end. I'm so appreciative for Renee at Wild Rose. Yes the man that answers the phone can come off brash but I think he's just got a certain tone to his voice. They've always been nice and I say always because 55 days after my grandfather's passing my grandmother passed and I went back and used them for her cremation as well & both times doing business with them was absolutely impeccable and amazing I would recommend anyone and everyone to Wildrose, they are family owned and operated and are half the price of other local corporate companies.“
