“Love the personal approach to service that Mr Tsuzuki has delivered throughout his quarter of a century career in the tree care industry. Mike, as he likes to be called, has a few select people to work with him but no office help to speak of. . . Keep trying him; He probably won’t call you back if you have to leave a message. He’s that busy!It’s difficult to find quality tree pruning anywhere. And I would trust Mike and his team, especially Lionel who has been with him for over 20 years, with lacing out my venerable Japanese Maples! But he’d have no problem taking out that pesky Mexican Fan Palm that seemed to grow out of nowhere and do it for half the price!But the appeal is not just quality and price. With Mike you actually get that magical trifecta: great quality, excellent price and quickly done!If you’re one of those that takes offense when someone doesn’t call you back then don’t bother; but if want an artist to do the work who values safety and integrity then Mike is the man to call! “Premier Tree Experts are amazing! Sal was on time for our appointment for an estimate to remove a 50 year old palm tree, as well as weeding a forty foot slope in my back yard. Also trimming some of the bushes on the slope, as they had not been pruned for more than a decade. His price was more more than fair and reasonable.

Sal's men arrived on time as scheduled, completed everything within 2 hours, cleaned up any traces of debri and even hauled away a few potted plants I no longer wanted.

They took care of our overgrown half-acre property with 19 trees for far less than previous companies have charged. And did a far better job! Carlos brought his team which had appropriate gear and devices to climb up the tree and thin out ,and remove old dry branches and this was 5 days prior to unprecedented wind and severe weather in Pasadena.

“Today was the third time I’ve used Treewest for tree removal services and they did an outstanding job as usual. A week ago, I contacted them and Hector came out for an in-person estimate. I wanted to have 7 palm trees removed. Some of the trees were a little tricky as I have artificial grass under some of them, and one of them was on an elevated slope. He quoted a fair price so I made an appointment to have them removed. They arrived by 7:40am and set things up and by 8am they were cutting (probably didn’t want to start before 8am because of the chainsaw noise for the neighbors). They had a 3 person crew, one who climbed and cut the palms, and the other two to help as required. To protect the artificial grass from falling tree pieces, they laid out sheets of plywood. As another measure to keep falling tree trunk pieces from digging into and damaging the grass, they tied a rope to the heavy pieces and lowered them to the ground in a controlled fashion. And in the front yard where they had more room to work, they cut a couple of palms down with one cut. This way they didn’t have to worry about having falling trunk pieces damaging the artificial grass. They worked hard and fast and were pretty much finished just after lunch time. Since there was no room for stump grinding equipment in my yard, they did a good job in cutting the stumps as close to the ground, if not slightly below it, as possible. As far as cleanup, they hauled away everything and left the front and back yards cleaner than when they first started. Hector also had his guys clean up my remaining 3 palms, which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend Treewest if you need tree trimming or removal.“

“The entire organization is outstanding. From the initial phone call, the estimate appointment, the day of service. These people all know how important it is to work as a team. I was lucky enough to get their information from the previous owners as they always relied on them to trim their trees annually. Last year Phil and his crew delivered exceptional service when I bought the property. So...this year I didn't hesitate to call them again. This time I wanted to remove 4 large trees and trim a 5th tree. The price he quoted me was unbelievably fair. The trees were careful cut and removed. my area was cleaned up by his hard working crew. “From now on going nowhere and using AMDM Tree service to cut or trim all our trees. We texted him on the day after Thankgiving and he was nice enough to text us back with an honest fair quote... “What I see in these reviews is a love them or hate them thing. Tree trimming is very difficult work and yes you can look for faults in an operation trying to accommodate thousands of trees in trimming, removal, and stump grinding. Arborists also do not grow on trees and cannot be readily available to make observations on every trees situation so one has to compassion for men whom have scaled and trimmed in high heat and arduous conditions for sometimes not doing a complete clean up. Often, the missed branches when trimmed are green and blend in and cannot be seen until after a few days of desiccation to reveal them. Anyway, now to my point, Great Scott is an honest and trustworthy company supported by good people trying to perform a great service. Take it from a manager of 40K trees.“

“I've not actually had them do my tree work yet, but they've already earned my business with integrity and helpfulness. I requested a quote for work on some fruit trees that I know nothing about - they could have easily quoted me a bunch of pruning or shaping, but instead Eric gave me a very thorough explanation of the possible problems and what I could do about them.

When I asked if he could still give me a quote for future use, he recommended that I make the changes he suggested and then he could come back to see if their work was needed - again he didn't offer me anything I didn't need and continued to explain details of how these trees grow and what I can change to improve their health.“
