Mike, as he likes to be called, has a few select people to work with him but no office help to speak of. . . Keep trying him; He probably won’t call you back if you have to leave a message. He’s that busy!It’s difficult to find quality tree pruning anywhere. And I would trust Mike and his team, especially Lionel who has been with him for over 20 years, with lacing out my venerable Japanese Maples! But he’d have no problem taking out that pesky Mexican Fan Palm that seemed to grow out of nowhere and do it for half the price!But the appeal is not just quality and price. With Mike you actually get that magical trifecta: great quality, excellent price and quickly done!If you’re one of those that takes offense when someone doesn’t call you back then don’t bother; but if want an artist to do the work who values safety and integrity then Mike is the man to call! “David’s Tree Service was already in our neighborhood trimming hundreds of trees for our HOA, and since they were on my street I called to see if they could also help with two overgrown palm trees in my yard.

When I called, Lori answered and was friendly, professional, and very helpful. She gave me a quote quickly and had everything scheduled and completed by the end of the day.

Carlos brought his team which had appropriate gear and devices to climb up the tree and thin out ,and remove old dry branches and this was 5 days prior to unprecedented wind and severe weather in Pasadena.

I was lucky enough to get their information from the previous owners as they always relied on them to trim their trees annually. “From now on going nowhere and using AMDM Tree service to cut or trim all our trees. We texted him on the day after Thankgiving and he was nice enough to text us back with an honest fair quote... I said YES. He came the next day with his crew and got that job done less than an hour and also cleaned up everything nicely. He monitors all his work and make sure the customer is happy.

“I was really pleased that Tony could see what needed to be done. His crew trimmed my many large trees all around the house, shaping them well. They then followed up with several landscaping plans that I had been considering and putting off. The crew was professional and worked hard through their several days here, even working through light sprinkles one day. The price was fair, and I felt Tony had my best interests at heart. I was especially pleased that Tony wanted to reuse and repurpose items I already had on hand--specifically all the stones and old pavers, saving me money and time, as well as being ecologically sound. My end goal is to make my yard less labor intensive, and one thing he suggested is to have a twice-yearly cleanup and trim from his crew so things don't get out of control again. “What I see in these reviews is a love them or hate them thing. Tree trimming is very difficult work and yes you can look for faults in an operation trying to accommodate thousands of trees in trimming, removal, and stump grinding. Arborists also do not grow on trees and cannot be readily available to make observations on every trees situation so one has to compassion for men whom have scaled and trimmed in high heat and arduous conditions for sometimes not doing a complete clean up. Often, the missed branches when trimmed are green and blend in and cannot be seen until after a few days of desiccation to reveal them. Anyway, now to my point, Great Scott is an honest and trustworthy company supported by good people trying to perform a great service. Take it from a manager of 40K trees.“

“I've not actually had them do my tree work yet, but they've already earned my business with integrity and helpfulness. I requested a quote for work on some fruit trees that I know nothing about - they could have easily quoted me a bunch of pruning or shaping, but instead Eric gave me a very thorough explanation of the possible problems and what I could do about them.

When I asked if he could still give me a quote for future use, he recommended that I make the changes he suggested and then he could come back to see if their work was needed - again he didn't offer me anything I didn't need and continued to explain details of how these trees grow and what I can change to improve their health.“
