I’m picky about my builder gel (hard gel), and not everyone gets it right but this place absolutely does. The attention to detail is chef’s kiss. They actually know what they’re doing, the vibe is great, and they respect your time (which is rare). Safe to say I’m not going anywhere else. Highly recommend Gel Labs.

I went to The Gel Lab a few days ago and honestly had one of the best nail experiences I’ve ever had!! My nail tech, known as “Zaddy”, was absolutely phenomenal! Not only was his work incredibly detailed, clean, and precise, but he was also so educational throughout the entire appointment.
I had gone to another salon about a week prior and my nails were already chipping and lifting, so he took the time to explain what went wrong, what to look out for in the future, and how to properly communicate with nail techs so I wouldn’t get bamboozled again 😅 It felt empowering! I learned so much while getting my nails done.
From the prep, buffing, shaping, and cuticle work to the hard gel application and polish, everything was truly chef’s kiss 🤌✨ The polish selection was stunning! high-quality, up-to-date, and imported from Korea, with immaculate colors. The salon itself was spotless, modern, and clearly very well cared for.
On top of that, the owner and entire staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
I genuinely can’t recommend this place enough. 10/10, and I’m already looking forward to coming back next time I’m in California visiting family 💖

Omg this place is a GEM! I had a pretty lofty request for my wedding nails - but the Team at Gel Lab didn’t bat an eye and said “we can do that!!” and omg did they slay the nail. Ellie was my artist and her vision, precision and artistry blew my mind. The whole environment at the salon is so fun, warm and welcoming - you’ll want to hang out and chat all day!! My GelX nails (and Gel Pedi!) nails turned out PERFECTLY. Ellie looked at my inspo pic and went to work - she hand-painted the stars on with the steadiest hand and helped me choose the perfect base color (and I was indecisive!). SO many guests at my wedding grabbed my hands and stared in awe of her artwork!! 💜💜💜 Thank you Ellie and Gel Lab!!

Found this hidden gem when my other nail technician left. Klaire and her team are all amazing! You can’t go wrong with any of them with your 💅 nails. Beautiful work, luxurious pedicures: love the Orange pedicure, using real orange rinds, flower petals and the scent. The ambiance is adorable in pink and white decor. They really take care with your nails and suggest ways to make your nails stronger but look beautiful at the same time. 5 star ⭐️ service every time. Bonus: they offer beverages and snacks. Oh a TV to watch Netflix shows as well.

I have been a client at The Gel Lab for about a year now, and my nails have never been as long and healthy as they are now. It's all because of the love and care of The Gel Lab team. Klaire and her team are very knowledgeable and skilled, and provide such a warm and welcoming environment. I look forward to each appointment! It's like going to a friend's house to hang out and get your nails done. Shout out to Ari for being my nail bestie :) I can't say enough about this place!

The gel lab is my new happy place. Their customer service is unmatched. I broke my foot and they literally helped me get in out of the salon and moved my car for me. With my nails I never dreamed I could have had this much growth and happy nail beds but they mad it happen (this after 3 appointments with gel builder). But more than anything I love the community, the sisterhood, the laughs, and general vibes. If you live in the Bay Area you are dumb if you go anywhere else.

Claire, the owner and the techs are really nice and always know exactly what I want. Gel-x is definitely a step above acrylic and has been helping my natural nails also grow out healthily. My nails after 4 weeks of growth. The owner was really nice and did a trial nail to make sure it really matched my inspo pic. The service was quick and clean, and they helped me fix my nails after a bad gel overlay job at another salon.
