Indy’s Place is simply amazing. After vetting over a dozen clinics for our Shiba Inu’s dental work, this was the only place I truly trusted. I cannot even begin to put into words what an amazing place this is for your pets... it is unlike any vet experience we have ever had.

Our nervous dog (Nashmi) absolutely loves going here, it's his favorite place ever to go. The second he realizes we're going there, his tail starts wagging like crazy and the only thing he cares about is getting there faster.

Dr. Goldfarb is truly unlike any other vet we have had. She prioritizes making it a wonderful and fear-free experience for Nashmi. As soon as she enters the room, she gets on the floor and plays with Nashmi and lets him lick and kiss her face. He gets a very comfortable bed to sleep in (see picture!), lots of treats, and toys/ puzzles to occupy himself while she talks to us and document everything ... with some relaxing music playing softly in the background.

When it comes time for the exam/vaccines/whatever is getting done, she does it there in the room with us and lets us help soothe Nashmi (unlike other vets, she doesn't take the pet into a scary backroom away from the parents!) It makes it a much less stressful situation for us and our dog. He loves it; while she is examining him he is getting lots of treats and food from us and the vet assistant. He doesn't even notice when he is getting his vaccines/ blood drawn.

She also takes a holistic approach towards our dogs health... she has helped us identify and address health issues we were not even aware of, fixed his diet, and referred us to the appropriate specialists, and our dog is much happier and healthier now. She genuinely has made an unforgettable and invaluable impact in our dog's life.

Indy's Place will always be a second home for our Nashmi.

Their recommendation to consult a behaviorist at SFSPCA was another game-changer. With Theo's prescribed medication, he's now thriving, more confident, and less anxious! Indy's Place may be a small vet hospital, but it's run by a dynamic duo whose passion for animals shines through in every interaction. For the person who wrote a one star review a month ago, can we have your spot as a patient? We tried to ask for an appointment way out in the future and were told that they are not even wait listing new pets anymore! We love our kitties and one has dental issues which we desperately need a good vet for!
