I really like this place and the people who work there. Yes, they are super busy! We live in an area with very few Veterinarians!
They did their best and they take emergencies seriously. And yeah, it’s expensive, but no more than anywhere else. I actually thought it was very reasonable. Dr. Flores was amazing and really listened to me and explained it all thoroughly. The front desk people were all kind and smiley, even with the stress of their environment. Thank you all so much. You are doing a great service for our community..?
I love this vet's office! I switched to this office after I got my last cat who was medically complex. Fortuna Vet always got us in the same day I called for urgent appointments & treated us so well. They were exceptionally compassionate & kind when it was time to put my baby to sleep. I'm moving to Arcata soon & I'm really sad that I'll have to find a new vet because my current cat can't handle the stress of that long of a car ride. I would highly recommend both Fortuna Vet & their other office in Ferndale!
Very kind and compassionate persons working in the veterinary group. They were helpful and answered all my questions. And the times I've had to call in, they have also been quick to call me back and helped to reach a conclusion to whatever issue might be going on with one of my beloved animals. They also have a local office in Fortuna which is helpful. And open on Saturdays ?
