My experience with Roadmaster was great. I was sent from my job, so I'm not sure about the finance part of getting into the school; however, I enjoyed every instructor that I had the opportunity to learn from. My first day was a bit overwhelming, but I had Vince go over the pre-trip inspection, and he was really informative and patient. He would answer questions I had, even if he wasn't my direct instructor that day. I also worked with James pretty often on the pad, and I'd have a good banter with him, and he would always help me out if I was ever confused about what I had to do next and what I should be looking for when doing my backing maneuvers. Alfredo was also great at explaining backing maneuvers and was just overall really positive. Tim was my first instructor over the road and gave me some great tips on how to adjust for drives since I had mentioned I was struggling with the accelerator. Monica made me comfortable OTR. When I was confused about how to know when to turn, she literally drew a diagram and explained what to look for. Then, she would ask me what I felt I needed more practice in and provide a route that would have me practice those things, along with whatever else she felt I needed. The class sizes can be large, but they do a great job at making sure everyone drives and gets time in the truck. With anything, you get what you put in, ask questions if you're unsure, and listen to what's being said to you. Overall, it's a great school for a driver trying to obtain their CDL.

I strongly recommend Roadmaster Driver’s School to everyone. The school comes at the highest professionalism. While attending, I had heard from a few students that they had previously gone to another school and couldn’t pass the DMV final test. They ended up coming to Roadmaster. Now they had the expense of 2 schools. I know Roadmaster is a little more money, but you also get what you pay for. The school manager, Robert runs a tight ship and holds you accountable which I respect. In my eyes it was ran like a well oiled machine.
There were many things I loved about this school. Learning in full length 53’ trailers and sleeper cabs. This set the bar for me because that’s what you’ll most likely drive in the field after you get your Class A. We did all the skill maneuvers of straight line, offsets, parallel parking and alley dock using these. I’m not sure any other school offers that. I see most schools running day cabs and small pup trailers.
All the Instructors are the greatest in the business. They are kind, understanding, patient, and very knowledgeable but also firm in their teachings. Each instructor has different things to add to your tool box. Alfredo, James, Vince and Anthony I could not be any more thankful for my experience with each of you. One instructor really stood out to me above all and that was Anthony(Tony). I know he is fairly new and learning his own way of teaching. He is going to be a phenomenal instructor once he gets into his groove. He cares so much for the students and it really shows. I was grateful to have spent as much time with him as I did. He helped me so much and I owe him a lot of gratitude. So in my humble opinion I would not hesitate on this school.

My experience at Roadmasters was nothing but amazing. The instructors are very knowledgeable and helpful. All the instructors made it very easy to understand and complete each skill. When I first saw what we had to do and got my demo’s, I was freaking out. But they literally walk you through every skill and I’m very grateful for them. Thank you for this opportunity Roadmasters. I am happy but sad to go. Shout out to Vince, he took me on my first drive over the road, James, he took me on most of my drives and Alfredo. You all were so amazing at teaching, I could never do what you guys do. I look forward to seeing you all again on my refresher days.

My experience at Roadmaster has been very positive. The instructors here set a strong example of what real leadership looks like. They manage to keep the training fun and engaging while still being firm, consistent, and professional. They don’t give favors, they don’t compromise their integrity, and they know exactly where the line is. That balance of being approachable yet disciplined is something students really respect.
The instructors teach clearly, stay patient when you make mistakes, and genuinely want you to succeed. They take the time to explain things the right way and make sure you understand what you’re doing before moving on.
One area that could be improved is the PTI training. A lot of PTI is learned from other students, which leads to mixed information. Having a standardized handout or script for each section of the truck would make everything more consistent and prevent confusion.
I also appreciate the strict accountability and timeliness at the school. It builds discipline and pride — qualities that matter in this career. I do think there should be more in-cab PTI time, because seeing the components directly makes a huge difference compared to just imagining them. And the log sheet training would be much more helpful if taught during the first week.
Overall, I definitely recommend Roadmaster. The instructors truly care about your progress and make sure you leave with the skills you need to be confident and safe on the road. The school is strict with its rules, but that structure is exactly what helps build professionalism and discipline in future drivers.

Hello, I went to and graduated with my Class A Commercial License back in 2016. The School, Instructors, and Management are Spectacular. I have been recommending everyone who wants to get their license to come here. Even though I was at an extremely low point in my life I was treated respectfully, like an adult, and was held to a high standard.
The price is a bit steep but you get what you pay for. Right after you graduate you are given job offerings that same day. Going in I had know idea how to drive manual but they trained me to operate properly.

- Fraudulent Misrepresentation: Income potential statements provided by Robert Salazar regarding Werner following CDL completion were misleading and fraudulent. - Professional Misconduct: I experienced unprofessional behavior from Robert Salazar, including belittling treatment and inappropriate comments directed toward students and instructors. - Inadequate Instruction: There was a significant lack of oversight, with instructors frequently leaving classes to train themselves without supervision. - Lack of Communication: My attempts to address these issues with the office and request a meeting with an alternative representative were ignored.
