I found this location through Yelp and decided after reading a few good reviews that I would give it a try. I had the absolute best experience here! Laurie was so warm and welcoming which made me feel so comfortable. I tried the body wrap for the very first time and boy did I sweat my booty off! I highly recommend this place to anyone especially those who are nervous or skeptical about the wraps. Laurie was extremely knowledgeable and monitored my progress the entire time. She was as sweet as can be and I will definitely be returning.

Laurie is amazing! Her expertise, her knowledge and her ability to make things happen is unbelievable. She has different services that will benefit man or woman that will help with weight loss, getting rid of stubborn fats and toxins that you will feel amazing at the end of each session. It was my first time with her and I got the LittleBlackDress which is the combo of the InfraredBodyWrap and the ElectroBodySculpting and the results were amazing! I am already coming back in two days because finally I found a place where results are for real and where the service is the best. Laurie is a sweetheart and will take care of you ale very step of the way. Don't look anywhere else and try it. She has specials and the more important, the results are to die for!

I found out about this place online. I was just looking up body wraps and this places showed up. My fist treatment was the body wrap and I'm absolutely in love with it. I did the body wrap as a cleanse and felt amazing after it. I also did the body sculpting and liked that as well. Laurie the owner is amazing. She is super nice and easy to talk to. During my treatments she made me feel super comfortable. I would come see her everyday, if only I lived closer to the spa.

I went here a few months ago for a body wrap. I'm not the slimmest person, but Laurie made me feel very comfortable being near naked. There was one other person there and she was very attentive to both of us. Once the other person left, she came and chatted with me. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience, plus lost two pounds! :) The only thing that sucks is the price- it's definitely worth it, but not something I can afford regularly unfortunately. Next time, I want to go for a massage! Also, I left my cell phone there, and although I realized it and was able to pick it up before she left, she said that she was about to drive it to my house. That's what I call service!

She also offers some of the most unique and beneficial therapeutic services that, believe me, you cannot find just anywhere. I live and work in the Bay Area, and they mostly have the gimicky wrap places that get bad reviews and don't care about your personal wellness. Her services include Electro Body Sculpting, commonly practiced in Europe and South Africa, Sudatonic Infrared Body Wraps, and soothing, deep tissue massage. Her wide array of unique services is telling not only about her vast experience and insight on true wellness and detoxification but also her resilience in a tough market: she's still around for a reason. I have done a ton of research on detoxification, and Laurie definitely knows the difference between a gimicky wrap from a healthy detoxifying wrap which aids you on your path to wellness, weight loss, or whatever your goals are. She doesn't promise any weight or inch loss, because she truly believes in the therapeutic value of her services and has the warm, nurturing spirit to match. I had the trial session of the Electro Body Sculpting followed by the full Sudatonic wrap. Therapeutic Body Care was the first time I had ever heard of Electro Body Sculpting, and I was very suspicious at first, but after feeling my stomach, thighs, and butt after only half an hour, I am a believer. I didn't feel any crazy results, but the difference is in how I feel and how my body feels. The wrap was soothing, and as someone who rarely sweats, I was dripping so much that I made a mini puddle with my sweat - it felt awesome, I just feel clean and refreshed. Seriously, if you've struggled with weight or need a good detox from the toxic world, just go to Laurie. She'll make your experience completely worth it. Manicures and massages are great and all, but this is something else.

Laurie, the owner of this awesome place, gave me a one-hour massage, half of which was using a technique, the name of which escapes me. The technique involves Laurie literally "hanging" from self-installed rods near the ceiling, and massaging your back with her FEET! The technique is incredible because it allows Laurie to use her entire foot, which is quite large surface-wise, and the power of her legs. The overall feeling is that your back, spine, shoulders, even arms, feel like they are being covered by the most powerful, large hands you can imagine, with a wonderful force that is widely spread over the body. I kept asking Laurie, during that too-brief half hour, "You're still using your feet? Incredible." To which Laurie would sprightly reply, "Isn't that a trip?" Yeah, Laurie. It's a trip that I CAN'T WAIT TO GO ON AGAIN! SOON!! Simple online scheduling. Awesome.

Laurie is a solo business owner and massage therapist extraordinaire. The one hour hot stone massage was the best massage of my life. It cost $85. She possesses an incredible energy and is very friendly. And I love the online appointment scheduler -- very convenient. She also offers detox and cellulite treatments (ionithermie, body wraps) which are surprisingly effective. Laurie's cozy studio is located across the street from Folsom Community College.
