I absolutely love coming to Madison Reed! I brought my daughter also to get her hair done before her wedding and we both love the color and service! The colorists are fabulous and so helpful! I highly recommend!!

My Initial first visit for all over color went great, my second visit was for partial highlights, and I arrived on time but they told me the stylist was running late so they told me to walk around for 20 minutes and come back. When I came back they said they could no longer serve me because they had a client right after me, so they essentially had poor scheduling management and bumped me, even though I arrived on time and did what they said by giving them extra time since they were running late. I do believe it was a communication error on the check-in stylists part, but it was very offputting, especially when another stylist said that my service wouldn’t have taken very long anyhow, there Was no respect for my time, everyone’s time is valuable. Overall, very confusing and a waste of time.

Folsom Palladio location has the best service and super expert stylists. Manager Janell is so knowledgeable and helpful. Every time I get my hair done I feel so good and happy.

I had a very disappointing experience at Madison Reed and feel it’s important to share.
Their website clearly states that if you refer someone, both people receive $30. I referred my mom, and on March 10 (20 days before my next visit) I even contacted customer service in advance to confirm that I had the $30 credit. They confirmed by email that the credit was already in my account and that I could use it for a future appointment or products.
Today, March 31, I had an appointment at 12:30 PM. I arrived early at 12:20 PM, but my appointment started a bit late since they were busy. While my color was processing (which takes about 40 minutes), I went to the front desk, showed them the email, and asked them to apply my $30 credit.
They told me that they couldn’t see the credit in the system and that it didn’t apply automatically, even though customer service had said it would. However, they assured me they would apply it manually. I specifically asked them to take care of it during the waiting time, since I needed to pick up my kids from school at 2:45 PM.
Unfortunately, nothing was resolved in advance. At 2:35 PM, just 10 minutes before I had to leave, they were still asking me to wait. I offered to just pay the difference and leave, but they insisted I keep waiting, saying they were busy with other clients. The manager also spoke to me in a somewhat rude and dismissive tone, which made the situation even more frustrating. And before that I bought a products from that manager, where she was nice.
Overall, the experience felt very unprofessional. I took the time to confirm everything in advance, planned my schedule carefully, and still ended up stressed, rushed, and without a clear resolution.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both their internal communication and customer service. I ended up late to school to pick my kids

Outstanding service every time. The staff is well-trained, professional, and consistently attentive. Appointments are scheduled through a downloadable app, which makes the process quick and efficient. I have the monthly membership, and it is absolutely worth it for the value and ease it provides. There is also plenty of parking, which makes each visit even more convenient.

Must say I was very hesitant to come in after having my hair professionally done for over 15 years (not that this isn’t professional) I was worried about color matching and Tosha was very patient and answered all my questions. I felt at home as soon as I walked in to get my hair done. Service was great all the staff was welcoming and made eye contact and smiled at least once during my visit. I forgot the name of the gal who washed my hair but she was soooo friendly and nice. She shampooed my hair twice because I have so much hair.
I got personalized friendly and professional service. My hair turned amazing. I can’t wait to go back.
