I really like my OBGYN at Mercy Medical Group, Emily O'Neal. However I had to get a colposcopy here as my pap came back irregular and I needed a biopsy to see if it might have been cancerous. Luckily results came back normal, however I was unaware that this procedure wasn't considered preventative care by my insurance (or most insurance it seems), and I was extremely surprised by the $750 bill I received weeks afterwards.
I wish Mercy Medical Group was upfront about the cost. They should have informed me that this procedure will fall under my deductible and wouldn't be considered preventative care. I would have gone somewhere else, possibly Planned Parenthood,...read full review

I was referred to this office but unfortunately I couldn't get them on the phone. The only time someone answered they said to wait and they never picked up the phone again. I will never know what type of service they offered but if you are referred here save your time and don’t bother to even call.

I'll save you the time if you're looking for a new OB/GYN - I called as soon as the office opened and it took 5 minutes to get through. The receptionist advised me that Dr. Powelson's first availability is in September.Unsure why Cigna says she's accepting new patients. It's April - if she can't see anyone for 5 months, she doesn't have the availability to take on new people.
