We hired Mr Allen to teach singing lessons. He was extremely unprofessional and rude to my children and myself. His style of teaching is apparently to humiliate his students into performing better, which is of course draconian and massively ineffective. He makes fun of every mistake a child makes, and spends a good part of each lesson expounding on his own self proclaimed fame. What a ridiculous experience. There are many great music teachers in the Sacramento region, but Mr. Allen is most definitely not one of them.

Bob Allen was my music instructor for five years. I have learned so much under him. He is a true musician, fun to work with, passionate about music, and a superb teacher.
