My wife Olivia and I worked with Lisa many years ago, and she was fantastic. Her knowledge and passion for dogs were incredible. She used positive-reinforcement methods based on Pavlov’s theory — the idea that dogs learn through association. In simple terms, when a dog does something right and immediately receives something positive, the behavior becomes stronger. Which is a really effective!
I still remember her teachings for example the “3 Ds” — distance, duration, and distraction.

Lisa is a very efficient trainer for a person who is willing to learn. She can be very strict, but I assure you, you will be the best dog trainer to your fur babies after several sessions with Lisa. The program she has was enjoyable, and I learned a lot from it. She is the best trainer that I've ever worked with and I can't thank her enough for being patient, encouraging and inspiring!

Lisa is very knowledgeable about dog behavior and breaks down lessons into smart components that build into good training. She is super responsive to questions, and she really cares that dogs and their people learn to work together. We're doing our third set of lessons with our dog and highly recommend Lisa as a trainer.
