SAVED US FROM BEING SCAMMED!!!!TLDR: Saved us $49,800 from being scammed by Ongaro & SonsOngaro & Sons came out to our house to look at our broken heating system and gave us a quote for essentially an entire new system for $50k, Got Fitzpatrick to come out for a second opinion... They replaced a faulty gas valve... $200.10 out of 10 will call again.

I want to deliver my highest recommendation for Fitzpatrick's local heating and air conditioning company. After two months of getting frustratingly high replacement estimates from at least five companies who charged me to look at or or gave "free" estimates; then refused to work on it because it was too old: "Our insurance won't cover it," they claimed. Then I finally got hold of Fitzpatrick's, and in an hour and a half, Alex (a man far younger than our 40-year-old furnace) had it fixed for $175 instead of the at least 15,000 dollar replacement estimates the other companies were quoting. My furnace quit during a cold snap recently. I am an out of town landlord, so I was in a bit of a compromised situation trying to get the furnace up and running for my tenants as quickly as possible. I got a highly inflated price for repair from John Owens Services in San Rafael. I sensed I was being taken advantage of. I explained the situation to Johnny at Fitzpatrick Heating and he sent a crew out the next day who took care of the problem for me. Though I gave him the quote from John Owens, and would have been happy with a bill for anything substantially less, Fitzpatrick invoiced me 1/3 of the John Owen's quote.
