Overall had a great experieince working with the Maple Man. His communication prior to the job was timely and clear. Upon arrival, we chatted briefly about the work, he answered a few questions I had. Upon completion, we chatted about what he did, and he offered suggestions for us to do to keep the tree in a good place. I would highly recommend him for his services.
I found Shyam’s business card at our local spot, Sunnyside Nursery. After a few texts Shyman, he shared his YouTube link which has a great catalog of both pics and video of the many jobs he’s done over the years, great encyclopedia of his work!
That was all the referral I needed, he later came by to view our job and give us a bid. We made a plan to have him come back in a few weeks.

Shyam, the Maple Man, was great to work with! He came over for a consultation and answered all of our questions. He also offered suggestions for adding more trees and where different varieties would do well. We scheduled a half day of pruning at the end of the consultation. He was easy to get in touch with & quick to respond.
On the pruning day, Shyam was very good at listening to me & my partner’s different ideas and helping us understand what was best for each tree.
