I was working on my Mercedes 722.6 transmission and broke the plastic clip in the valve body that connects to the internal shift lever. This part is not offered by Mercedes. I bought a donor valve body from Z&A. He talked me through some technical details and was very informative and helpful. I would take my vehicle to this shop!

He got me a quote very quickly. Warranty was too short. My local transmission gave same quote much longer warranty. I was hoping to negotiate so ZA could do the work but they weren't interested. AAA SCREWEd up the towing and I apologize for that. Seems like a nice person. Didn't get any work done from here though.

I very rarely take the time to post positive experiences, but am making an exception here. I agree 100% with the other 5-star reviewers. Although I needed relatively minor transmission work done, Juan is clearly expert in his field. Watching him reminded me of my grandfather, who was a career mechanic as well. I also noticed the certificates showing that Juan regularly takes continuing education training to stay on top of all the latest changes as a true professional. I definitely recommend him and will go back to Z & A for any future work. And on top of it, their prices were very reasonable as well!
