The plumber was able to locate the leak under our kitchen sink in less than 30 minutes and stated that a connection had come loose which was different than the worn out seal problem we had the last time. He tightened the connection and looked at other joints to be sure that no further drips would form.
A couple of weeks later I had no problems but I think it's worth saying that the plumber swiftly figured out the shower valve was out of alignment and fixed it in less than an hour. He was meticulous in patience explaining the situation and double checking everything before departing.
I was happy the plumber took the time to explain that the leak was from a faulty seal and had it repaired within an hour, especially because I had previous experience with another contractor who failed to communicate. He also gave advice on how to avoid similar problems in the future which helped me feel more confident maintaining out plumbing system.
