I have been going to Dr. Michael Haug and his wife Deborah for about 25 years. I consider him to be a trusted counselor regarding my eye treatment beyond just fitting me for my contact lenses. I have very complicated problems with one eye and he has been a voice of reason and pragmatism which I really appreciate. He is also a good man. I recommend him unreservedly.

I could tell from making the appointment with June that this office would be solid. June was quite efficient, as was the tech who did the tests. Dr. Haug was just awesome. Super kind, professional, positive, and informative. I actually had a great time at my eye exam. I will be recommending this office to my whole family and all of Yelp. Gorgeous selection of frames as well.

I've been going to Haug Optometry for the last few years. I switched from Greider & Associates in Vista- because that place is a FACTORY, not a family practice, or a place that's pleasant to go. Dr. Haug's office in Escondido is welcoming, warm, and you feel like you're their only patient. Every staff member is kind, knowledgeable, and professional. Dr. Haug himself is a wonderful doctor! This year, I saw Dr. Jeanne Louie for the first time. She was amazing! It was the best eye exam I've ever had. I really enjoyed her personal attention.
