Lovely Leaps is an African-American-owned dance studio in Escondido, CA, with over 25 years of experience. It offers a wide variety of classes including ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop. The studio is committed to building a community, taking time to know each student and family, and creating a very welcoming and safe environment. It is a place where kids dress up, have fun, and truly enjoy their classes, as the studio prioritizes well-being and introduces them to the joy of dance. Parents are consistently impressed, calling it the best place for their children. Students show tremendous growth in dance skills, flexibility, and confidence, and the studio also encourages them to bond and grow in their relationships and personal development. The owners are described as very nice, easy to talk to, friendly, helpful, and great people. They are filled with knowledge and passion. Teachers are attentive, kind, patient, and push students to do their best. Recitals are very well put together. Families at the studio are great and become friends. Lovely Leaps is highly recommended as a safe space for children to develop, be nurtured, and grow, building friendships and lasting memories.
My daughter has been going here for about 6 months, she’s in the mini leaps class (ages 2-3) She really loves the class and has so much fun. She even did the winter recital which was very well put together and the kids all did great! The owners are very nice and easy to talk to. Anytime I’ve had a question they’ve answered right away! I look forward to my daughter being here for years to come.
Lovely Leaps Founder Mrs. Lisa has been more than kind and gracious to me. She is filled with knowledge and has a passion to do the Lord’s work. I can't say enough good things about Lovely Leaps. We started here in 2020, and it's been the biggest confidence boost and just the best place for my daughters. We have two girls that dance here now, and they love it so much we are here 4 days a week in every class they can cram into our schedules. They have both shown tremendous growth in their dance skills, flexibility and confidence, but the studio also really encourages the girls to bond and grow in their relationships and personal development as well.
