A friend had recommended Dr. Arken and I'm so happy she did. I grew up with TCM & acupuncture and with my experience, he's the best and most comprehensive that I've encountered comparatively to my experience with LA and SD acupuncturists. He listens to your concerns and explains what and how is is treating you to help you understand what he is doing as well as what you need to do (diet, exercise, etc...). Dr. Arken looks at the body as a whole. You'll notice a difference after one treatment. Do expect an hour or more for your appointment.He has two locations - Escondido and Del Mar. I have only been to the Escondido location and there's plenty of parking. He can provide a superbill to submit to your insurance, if you have acupuncture coverage.
I can’t thank Dr. Arken enough for the great care that he provides each time I see him. He is very compassionate and knowledgeable of his practice. He goes above and beyond for his patients. Very easy to talk to and he spends a lot of time getting to know his patients and most specially giving treatments. He doesn’t do short cuts. You can learn a lot about natural/herbal healing. He is definitely a blessing and I’m lucky to have met him.
