Nobody wants to undergo surgery, especially on the face, but considering the surgery type my experience at West Encinitas was excellent. Dr. Gladsjo was excellent in her MOHS surgery but also her professional, kind, and caring ways. She explained each step and made me feel comfortable and safe with engaging conversation and Christmas music. Staff Sydney, Missy and others were great too. Sydney knows her NFL football and has a steady and reassuring professional caring manner. Missy made me feel right at home, and her expertise was apparent the entire time . Excellent service and a great front desk staff. Everyone in the office couldn't be nicer or more professional. I completely trust my doctors, both Julie Gladsjo MD PHD & Gary Vanetsky PA. Dr Gladsjo performed Mohs surgery on a squamous cell carcinoma on my head and it healed perfectly. The entire process was way easier than I thought. I'm extremely fortunate to have West dermatology looking after me. Their entire staff is incredible!
I was able to get an appointment quickly to check out a concerning area on my scalp. Allison Smith was very friendly, reassuring and professional. Highly recommend Allison and this practice.
