With its excellent condition, reasonable prices, and great service, Encinitas Ranch Golf Course is a highly recommended spot to play a round of golf in San Diego. However, it can be difficult to get a tee time unless one knows locals in Encinitas.
Encinitas Ranch Golf Course is a beautiful and well-maintained facility with some of the most impressive views in North County. While I haven't played the full course, I've spent time at the driving range and have always enjoyed the experience.
The practice area is well kept and a great place to work on your game while taking in the gorgeous surroundings. One thing to keep in mind is that range space can be limited during busy times, so reservations are a good idea. Overall, it's a fantastic facility with stunning scenery and a great atmosphere for golfers of all skill levels.
Very fun golf course. This review is dated for 6-14-26. Place is well kept, beautiful fairways and greens, lots of room off the tee box, dog turns, elevation shots. This place is always busy for a reason.
Booked our Sunday tee time a week in advance (unheard of for this course it seems) then got an email from their third party booking company the day before saying our tee time was cancelled as it didn’t go through on their end even though I was charged. After a few emails and calls back and forth, they were able to get us playing at our scheduled time and overall we had a great experience. Every staff member was so friendly and kind, cart girl Jules was super nice as well. The course was gorgeous. Will definitely come back next time we are visiting the area.
