Xavier's Barber and Styling Salon

I would 100% recommend coming here! The new owner, Deb, does an amazing job and for the price you really can't beat it. I've been getting my hair cut by Deb for 4 years now, and followed her here because she does such a great job. She's genuinely so kind and personable. I don't know much about the previous owner, David, so I can't compare his quality to Deb's. But take it from someone who's been going to Deb for 4 years and followed her to a new location, her quality is amazing.

Needing to look decent for a funeral tomorrow I'm in need of a barber , luck may have it that on my way to work I spot the sign for Xavier's Barber Shop , and I'm glad I had an hour to spend with him (Xavier) . I wasn't looking for a fufu upscale hair salon , just an Old School barber , and I found it here ... was warmly greeted by Mr. X and his pup , a youngish , playful boxer , 80s music in the backround, and he got straight to work , first with the clippers , then scissors and lastly with a straight razor , in between I got the hot towel treatment , like old school barbers do it ! Review for David DeMille - Hours as of 10/31/2024 Tuesday-Saturday 1-7pm, Closed Sunday's & Monday's Less busy on Tuesday's and Wednesday's (per David) David is the go-to barber per moms in Elk Grove. He used to work at Sharkey's and is now at Xavier's. He was very gentle with my 5 year old son who has a speech delay and who sometimes has a hard time with hair cuts. David was extra patient with him and would explain what he was going to do to his hair before he cut it so my son knew what to expect, whether that be changing the clipper, using scissors or the hair dryer.
