I spent a while looking for a good barber in LA and little did I know there was a great one just a few blocks away! George is an excellent barber and I highly recommend anyone to go in if they’re looking for a great haircut.

From the moment I walked in (without an appointment, no less), I felt a down-home, unpretentious beachy vibe. Reggae was cranked up and the ocean breeze was flowing through the top of the open Dutch door. My son (who turned 13 the day before) desperately needed a haircut and I was a bit nervous at first to bring him to an unfamiliar barber shop, where they may have just busted out the clippers and shorn the kid. Not only did George fit us in, he did a masterful, legit haircut in 15-20 minutes. My newly-teenaged son stood up & was actually Fighting a smile! He could not Help smiling because his hair looked exactly how he wanted it to--not too short, and no longer too long....read full review

I've been getting great hair cuts by George for about five years now. Like any high-quality service, product or experience, it's all about consistency. The super-clean shop has a cool, surfer vibe with perfect tunes, easy parking, too. Call to make an appointment and prepare to chill.
