I've been working with El Segundo Eye Care for years now. First with glasses then with contact lenses. The team was extremely patient in helping me dial in my eye care needs. I'm a designer who has worked in the South Bay for 30 years and my eyes are EVERYTHING to me. I am a new patient with Dr. Rosales. I have experienced significant vision loss over the past several years. My former Optometrist said that I had the beginning stages of cataracts, but that it takes years to develop. In the meantime, my vision just kept getting worse. I decided to visit Dr. Rosales for an exam and see if he could explain my rapid vision loss. He confirmed that I have advanced cataracts and should get surgery as soon as possible. Had been five years since I had my 70 year old eyes examined. I was able to schedule an appointment within a week and my insurance benefits were verified before my exam. Dr. Rosales performed a comprehensive exam including checking for the presence of glaucoma, cataracts and age related macular degeneration. The office follows CDC Covid protocols and has a wide selection of new glasses frames. I was under no pressure to purchase from their selection nor pressured to add on lens options like I have been at other optometrist offices.
