Dr. Funada, as well as both hygienist I have worked with over the years, are very calm and gentle in their approach. I can’t say I look forward to coming to the dentist, but with this staff, I don’t mind it.

It's very difficult to find a dental office that is the right fit for the whole family. This was especially true where we live. I was referred to Dr. Funada's office by a few friends. I was reluctant at first because of the distance from our home. But let me tell you, the 1+ hour drive is totally worth it! I'd honestly drive farther for the quality of care my whole family receives here. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The office is bright, modern and welcoming. I've been going to Dr. Funada's office for 1.5 years since we moved to El Dorado Hills. Great dentist. Very patient and clear. I've had a crown and he was very careful with it. No issues at all. My hygienist is Amy and she is great. Personable, professional. She definitely knows her stuff. I talked with her about problems with flossing since my arthritis is getting bad. She recommended an waterpik and it's been great. Definitely recommend going here!
