Duval Construction completed a complicated job of repairing our subfloor when we found out we had a bad case of dry rot on our existing floor joists. They worked with an engineer to come up with the most efficient and cost saving way to do this, which saved our existing flooring from being torn up. To complicate things even more we were on a time crunch and they did their best to accommodate us, successfully completing their work on a tight schedule. Can not recommend them enough, they are honest, hard working, responsive and kind.

We were extremely happy working with Duval for the recent rebuild of our front entry stairway and landing. Russ estimated our project and then was our point-person throughout. He was responsive and made excellent suggestions to keep quality high while managing costs. Ramiro was our on-site lead. It was so nice to work with a contractor who takes such incredible pride in the quality and details of his work! We felt the the team was always looking out for us -- even addressing a few issues at the house unrelated to the entryway replacement as a courtesy to us. Lastly, Celine, was the front-office manager and helped us keep our project moving through permitting issues with the city due to the pandemic. She was always so pleasant and helpful. We would certainly recommend the team at Duval and would choose them again for any other projects needing attention.

Job: Full house lift and foundation replacement. Quality of the job: The BEST. Duval jacked our old 1911 Oakland house up, dug out the entire footprint 4 ft down, poured us an entire new foundation, and then put the whole house back down. It was a HUGE job. But they did it fast, efficiently, and with super friendly service and responsiveness. A shout out to the crew boss Manny, Karen at the office, and of course Russ. They were all great to work with. Most importantly, everything came out perfect. No problems of any kind. Plus, because of the amazing experience and knowledge of everyone at Duval, we knew what to expect at all times. We even were knowing what we had to finish on our own, what inspections we needed next--everything. I can't say enough good things about this company!
