Anime Island is a local family-owned anime store in the El Cerrito Plaza. The store offers a large variety of anime-related merchandise including figures, plushies, stickers, blind bags, trading cards, and a $1 comic book hallway. It is an official tournament store for several card games like Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece, Gundam, and UniVersus, holding regular events. Reviews highlight the very friendly and knowledgeable staff, super nice customer service, and a very friendly environment. Customers call it a great store, the best card and anime shop, and a cool place with top-tier merch where it is hard not to purchase something. Many highly recommend visiting.
I ordered an earring online, and it shipped really fast! but what really impressed me was the customer service. they had some questions about my order, and they called AND texted me to make sure they got everything right! i’d definitely recommended buying online if you cant go in person!

I have been coming here since they opened. My favorite place in the bay. The owners and the employees are the nicest people in the world and the merch is top tier. If your form the area you need to check this place out!
