My feet were damaged by arthritis, and I have seen numerous podiatrists and purchased several different custom orthotics. After a few years of relative stability, my pain suddenly flared up and I could not walk without limping. My knees, hips and lower back were also being affected. Typically it takes a few months to see a doctor and then get new orthotics made. Hoping to find a faster solution, I searched online and saw some excellent reviews for The Shoe Doctor. After 7 years (!!!), my orthotics are still going strong and supporting me during the day, when I hike, and when I exercise. I bought 2 pairs and swap them out every other day. I had a cobbler top them with leather, which probably has added to their longevity. I am so thrilled with Russell's work that has held up and been truly life changing for so many years. It took me a while for my feet to get adjusted to the orthotics (like 8 weeks), and since then it's been an absolute dream to be able to walk around normally without pain.
