Mr. Rudy's Barber Shop

Good place to get a haircut by a real barber. He actually used scissors and a comb as well as clippers to cut. That takes a particular skill which I don't see a lot of new barbers applying.

Looking around Downey for a place to finally cut my hair after 7 months of DIY haircuts at home, I came to give this place a shot. I made and appointment over the phone for the next day. Arrived and was greeted by Fernando a very nice and friendly man, he cleaned up the chair before I sat down. The place was clean and looked like a classic small town barber shop. Fernando has been cutting my hair for over 20 years. Even though I moved away I still make a point to stop in and get a great haircut everytime I'm in the area. He still does as good a job as he did when I was a teenager.
