Two weeks after my surgery, I'm still following my doctor's orders and keeping my drains in.
I found a nearby location with excellent reviews. However, don't take everything at face value.
During my first appointment, I waited and knocked but got no response. When I called, the therapist realized she had forgotten to schedule me. She felt bad and arrived 20 minutes later, offering a complimentary 30-minute massage. It was decent for 20 minutes, but the last 10 were spent trying to put on my faja, which was quite amusing. I highly recommend Downey skin
& Body. I came in one week post op and I was worried about it hurting, but I left feeling so much better. Amazing massage with proper care.
I was totally amazed with Ms. Liz. She changed my incision tapes on Tummy Tuck and Breast Lift. She has the most up to date equipment and medical grade items. I am only 2 weeks post op and still in some pain. I will be returning to her to remove my drainage tube and lymphatic drainage massage. I encountered a complication on my stomach due to the faja being too tight and suffered an injury to the skin which has turned to necrosis. She will be helping me to recuperate from this as well. Bottom line if you’re looking for professionalism and someone who knows what they’re doing I recommend Downey Skin and Body Therapy.
