AME Medical Group, Inc. is a busy urgent care center that treats patients with respect and care. Check-in is quick with a kiosk, and no appointments are needed—patients are seen until 8:30 pm. The staff, including doctors and nurses, go out of their way to help and make patients feel comfortable. While the facility does not have equipment for eye examinations, they handle minor eye issues, animal bites, and scratches. Patients appreciate the professional and friendly service, especially from staff members like phlebotomists who are descriptive and caring during procedures. Overall, AME Medical Group provides helpful and respectful urgent care services.
Check in is done with the kiosk. Checked in at 335 by 420 I was walking out. This particular location doesn't do appointments, just go to the location. Last patient is taken in at 830pm. From previous experience this location does not have equipment for viewing the inside of your eye or if there's issues with your cornea, so if you do have minor issues with your eyes visit your optometrist first then come here if your optometrist indicates it. I accidentally scratched my eye a few years back and that's how I did it. I've been here for animal bites, eyeball scratch nothing really serious.
It's a very busy urgent care center but my visit ended very pleasant because I was assisted by a phlebotomist named Jessica Rivas. She was very professional and had a great attitude. Honestly I have been to so many ame urgent cares because they are my primary and most nurse assistants are a bit rude. But this experience with the phlebotomist was quite pleasant. She made me feel comfortable and was very descriptive with the whole procedure. She made me feel like she was there to help me and make sure I was okay since I was getting my blood drawn. I would recommend getting lab work with Jessica.
