Phyllis from MPS Events officiated a beautiful ceremony for us. Our guests enjoyed it and found it very touching as well as funny (when the best man dropped the rings). Our Mandarin speaking guests were also pleased to find out it was bi-lingual. During our first conversation about our expectations etc., she was helpful and friendly. She helped answer any questions we had about the process. On the day of wedding, she also gifted us mugs to use as a married couple! We definitely recommend MPS events.
Oh my gosh I just want to say I couldn't have done it (or nearly close to it) without my planner Phyllis and our Emcee Richard!! Phyllis was always super responsive, flexible, available, and knowledgeable. I probably bugged her countless times and was always satisfied with her help. Phyllis and I had a long call before the wedding to go over every detail and she was in communication with my vendors. She made my day just simply wonderful, I didn't have to worry about anything on my special day. She is also bilingual and was able to communicate with my mom who preferred to speak Chinese. Richard is also bilingual, we had a couple guests who only spoke Chinese and he picked up on it so quickly to make sure everyone feels included. Richard was soooo fun and energetic, I literally couldn't have asked for a better emcee. My wedding was the first time I've ever met him, and the reception went so smoothly and naturally I felt like he's know us for ages. Lastly, the DJ played all the songs I requested (at the exact min and secs lol) and I was so happy that everything went so well! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALL THEIR SERVICES!
We were looking for an officiant that speaks both Mandarin and English. We found Phyllis online and found that her husband Richard also offers DJ service, which was perfect for us. Throughout the planning phase, Phyllis was responsive and clear, and accommodated our requests very well. On the wedding day, Phyllis made sure the ceremony went smoothly, and Richard kept our guests on the dance floor during the reception, and also made clear announcements for the cake cutting and the sparkler exit. We were really glad that we worked with Phyllis and Richard! Would definitely recommend them to couples who are planning a bilingual wedding!
