Luna Del Mar Salon is a professional, full-service hair salon that has received mixed reviews from its customers.
The salon is praised for its talented and attentive stylists, such as Michelle, Jen, and Laureen, who are skilled at delivering the desired hairstyles and providing helpful suggestions. Customers appreciate the warm and friendly atmosphere of the salon, as well as the stylists' ability to handle challenging hair situations, such as dealing with the effects of chemotherapy.
However, some customers have had less than satisfactory experiences. One customer felt that their stylist, Samantha, was not fully attentive during the appointment and did not provide the expected level of service for a balayage coloring. Another customer experienced a burnt scalp and a headache due to the stylist's inattentiveness during the blow-drying process.
Despite these challenges, the salon has continued to provide service throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, adapting to the changing circumstances and demonstrating resilience and compassion towards its loyal customers. The salon's team is described as highly qualified and superb, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere that many customers appreciate.
Overall, Luna Del Mar Salon is a professional establishment with a mix of positive and negative experiences, but it has shown its commitment to serving its customers during difficult times.
My fiancé and I really love this place. The vibe is very warm and chill. The owner, Michelle is wonderful and she set us up with our amazing stylist, Jenny. I had highlights done, clipper cut on the sides and scissor cut on top. My fiancé had a layered cut done. Both of us were thrilled about how our hair came out. Jenny is an experienced and accomplished professional who really did great work for us and we are so grateful to have found this Salon!
We highly recommend
Michelle is such a wonderful stylist as well as a wonderful and warm human being! She helped me deal with a radical change in my hair texture due to chemo and made it an easy and pleasant experience. I’m so glad I found her and this incredible salon.
I hadn't gotten my hair done in many years and it was important for me to go somewhere that I felt comfortable in and knew exactly what they were doing especially since getting your hair done is always such a big decision! Samantha is the sweetest and is also really talented at what she does! She gave amazing advice and made me feel beautiful with the end result! I am already planning on coming back to book an appointment with her and I cannot express enough how wonderful this salon is. Highly recommend!
