I go here for my haircuts, and the barber has been cutting hair in Davis for decades.

He's a quiet person, but does a consistent job, and he knows how I want my hair cut before I say anything.

A lot of my friends get their haircut here as well, and it's probably one of the cheapest locations in Davis for a men's haircut. As of 2026, it's still $15, so with tips, it's about $20.

Timewise, he works quick, and is done in about 15 minutes. Sometimes there can be a wait, but usually there is no wait.

Highly recommend it if you are looking for a cheap and affordable men's haircut.

REOPENED!! Nails by Tam is back in the same location on 3rd and L Streets in Davis. Minh just gave me a very nice pedicure and her husband cuts hair in the next room. Minh also will do a modified pedicure and just trim your toenails for $14. I've found no one else willing to do that. I highly recommend!

This place is all thrill, no frill! Hard to find a good barber and after trying out numerous barbers in DT Davis as well as Woodland, I have found my place. The barber really knows how to style your hair and is very friendly. Best part is, there is usually not a long wait when you do walk in. Highly recommend for anybody!
