As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I specialize in seeing couples (including poly couples), children, and adults or children who have experienced trauma. To treat trauma, I use a specialized technique called EMDR (see my website for more info on this technique). Repeated studies show that with EMDR therapy, clients can experience the benefits of psychotherapy that once took years to make a difference. I have a gentle, yet firm approach to therapy, which can sometimes feel like deep work and sometimes like a conversation with a life-long friend.
