I used a Groupon for a 90 minute massage. They never asked what type of massage I wanted from the options provided on the Groupon. My massage was supposed to be with Jenny but instead it was with someone else. The massage was very mediocre at best, the masseuse was on and off her phone the whole massage, and she ended it 15 minute early. Not sure what happened to this place as I use to enjoy coming here. Looking at other reviews it looks like if you’re using a Groupon or coupon from another site the quality of service goes down hill.
As a frequent client, I have enjoyed the service at Danville Massage Therapy. Each visit has been a very special occasion, and I can hardly wait for my next appointment. I have lower back issues that have been a problem for years, and my preference is for deep muscle work to relieve tightness. Julie, an experienced therapist, understands the areas that need special attention, and she is the best that I have had. I had a wonderful walk on my back massage with Amy. It was really great and balanced her body weight over my shoulders and back and the pressure was about perfect for me. I left feeling completely refreshed and relaxed and had a little bit of soreness the next day, but in the good way. They were also very understanding when I let them know I was running late for my appointment and they still went at least the full amount of time without making me feel rushed. Clean beds and restroom and the facility itself was overall very nice and rooms were comfy and quiet and I would definitely go back for the same service.
