I wanted to walk in and ask if there was availability, as I didn't plan to be in the area today. I got there at 10, but the lights were off, the door was locked and it didn't seem like anyone was there even though the open signs were on and the hours were posted 10-5. I checked periodically over 30 min and still no one. I wanted to give this place a chance since the last review was 3 months ago and before that, a couple years ago. Update: left about an hour after and they were still not open

Azar was a discovery since I am new to CA. First time she gave me highlights. Since I did not want her to use bleach on my dark hair, she used the color directly. But this conservative approach did not work and even when she waited more than the recommended time before wash, the hair had not changed color. She painstakingly applied the least amount of bleach on each strand and kept checking every few minutes (to ensure my hair did not get too light) and even though she was way past her time at the salon, she finished when she was satisfied. Such pride in her work! 2 weeks ago she helped me change my hairstyle and once again her work was outstanding!! My family and friends love it. I am never going to anyone else now.
