I got my nose pierced at this store, everyone was so nice and my appointment was quick and easy and painless. My piercer Dave was very kind!!
I spend my time going out to Laguna Beach because this piercing shop absolutely *slays*. The floor is spotless, the lighting is amazing, the jewelry stock is jaw dropping, and do not get me going on the restroom. I have been seeing the owner (Desi) over the course of 4 years for my body work. It began with my right tragus, and we are still going on with new piercings. I’ve probably been pierced 50 times by now, but I have a little over 30 piercings. Going off of that, I have 16/half of my work in my left ear. I am finished with this ear, but we are now adding chains and charms to amp up the look I desire. If you’re as amped up about body work as me, and strive for *good work*, this place is the place to go. I get ear compliments every other day. I have Desi to thank, and he’s become a very supportive friend of mine.
Desi and this shop have impressed me since my first visit. I have been back multiple times as Desi is working with me on an ear curation (and I had only my first lobe piercings to start). Let me start with the shop... It is beautiful and clean. There is so many different choices to look at in varying styles. It is a very comfortable, clean, welcoming, and is an art filled space! I will also add that they have a small attached parking lot, which in Laguna Beach it is great to not have to look for parking. I did a lot of research on piercers w/in an hour drive of where I live and took the time to watch their work on Instagram and research the brands they carry. Desi stood out and made it an easy choice to schedule an appointment with him. At my first appointment, I was able to work with Chase on selecting my jewelry and placement. I went in truly a blank slate looking for guidance on what would look good in my particular anatomy. Chase was patient and helped me figured out what I wanted. He was also upfront about the cost a curation can take on when using gold jewelry. Both Chase and Desi are very observant and had a great read on my style and energy from the start. Now onto Desi, who owns the studio. I have continued to be impressed by his work ethic in how he runs his shop. He is incredibly talented, kind, patient, and has a calming and caring energy to him. He truly cares about his clients, his shop, his team, and the jewelry he carries. He knows the jewelry brands he choses to work with and holds them to his high standards also in order to carry them. He helped me at my second visit to plan out several other piercings and figure out how to keep it all cohesive but also tailored to my style. When I come into the shop, he knows me by name and remembers what we have discussed even though he has two busy shops. I highly recommend Laguna Gold Piercing for your piercing needs... 5 out of 5!!
